Web Design for Electricians

Homeowners hire the electrician
they trust first.

Electrical work is the one trade homeowners are genuinely nervous about. Before they call, they want to know you're licensed, that the job will be permitted and inspected, and that you'll show up when you say you will. Most of that judgement happens on your website, on a phone, in under a minute — and a dated or generic site loses the job to the contractor who looked more legitimate.

I build electrician websites designed to earn that trust fast: your licence front and centre, clear services from panel upgrades to EV chargers, service areas that show up in local search, and a phone number one tap away on every screen. Custom developed, fast loading, and built to look as professional as your work behind the walls.

Common problems
I fix for electricians.

The problem

Your website doesn't look as licensed and professional as your business is.

How it gets fixed

I build a modern, custom site that puts your ECRA/ESA licence, insurance, and permit process up front — so homeowners see a legitimate contractor before they ever pick up the phone.

The problem

It barely works on a phone — where most of your calls actually start.

How it gets fixed

Every site is designed mobile-first and tested on real devices, with tap-to-call buttons and fast load times so a customer can reach you in one tap.

The problem

You don't show up when someone searches “electrician near me.”

How it gets fixed

Local SEO foundations, clean code, and proper service and service-area pages are built in from the start — panel upgrades, EV chargers, generators — so you show up for the jobs you actually want.

The problem

You have no real brand — just a name on a truck.

How it gets fixed

I can design the identity too: logo, business cards, and vehicle decals that match the website, so your business looks the same everywhere a customer sees it.

Why Up North Creative

Custom-built websites.
Built to perform.

Every site is custom-built by Up North Creative — no off-the-shelf templates, no plugin bloat. Fast, secure, and built to help your business become the obvious choice.

01

Custom-built — never a template.

Every site is designed and coded from scratch around your business. No off-the-shelf theme, no generic layout — a website that looks like you, not like every competitor using the same template.

02

Purpose-built, never templated.

Your business never gets forced into a generic off-the-shelf theme or a drag-and-drop template padded with plugins you don't need. Every site is purpose-built on the right platform for the job — nothing quietly slowing it down behind the scenes.

03

Fast, secure, and built to perform.

Modern infrastructure that loads in a blink, scores well on Core Web Vitals, and stays quick without ongoing maintenance. Fast performance means a better experience for visitors and a stronger technical-SEO foundation.

04

Mobile-first development.

Most of your customers find you on a phone. Every layout is designed at 390px first and enhanced from there — tested across real devices so it's flawless where it matters most.

05

SEO-friendly from the ground up.

Clean semantic markup, proper heading structure, fast performance, and on-page SEO are part of the build — so you're ready to be found from day one.

06

Designed to convert.

Beautiful isn't enough. Every page is structured to move visitors toward action — a call, a booking, a sale — so your website earns its keep.

07

Yours to own and grow.

No locked-in platforms or hostage situations. You own your site, your domain, and your content — with the flexibility to grow as your business does.

08

Built for how electricians get hired.

Licence numbers, permit-and-inspection messaging, clear service lists, service areas, and tap-to-call buttons front and centre — every element designed around how a homeowner chooses an electrician they can trust inside their walls.

Common Questions

Questions —
Answered.

Everything you need to know about getting a website that actually brings in electrical work.

How much does a website cost for an electrician?

Most electrician websites start at $2,495 for a professional brochure site — clean, mobile-first, and built to generate calls. A premium build at $3,995 adds the depth electrical work rewards: separate pages for panel upgrades, EV chargers, generators and renovations, each tuned to its own search. You get a fixed quote after a short discovery call — no surprises.

Can you design my logo and truck decals too?

Yes. I designed Ordco's full identity — logo, business cards, and vehicle decals — alongside their website. Branding is quoted separately, and doing both together means your truck, your cards, and your site all look like one business.

Will my licence number be on the site?

Yes. In Ontario, electrical contractors are required to display their ECRA/ESA licence number, and it's also one of the strongest trust signals you have. I place it where homeowners look — the hero, the contact section, and the footer.

Will my website help me show up on Google?

Yes. On-page SEO is built into every site — proper structure, fast performance, and service and service-area pages tuned for local searches like “electrician near me”, “panel upgrade”, and “EV charger installation” plus your town name. Advanced SEO and Google Business Profile setup are available as add-ons.

How long does it take to build?

Most electrician websites take 3 to 5 weeks. The usual hold-up is content, not code: your licence number, insurance details, service list and a few photos of real jobs. Send those early and the timeline holds — I share a realistic schedule during discovery so you can plan around your busy season.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes. Monthly care plans start at $19/month for hosting, SSL and monitoring. Business at $59/month adds updates and analytics, and Growth at $149/month covers content edits — handy when you add a service like EV chargers, expand your service area, or need your licence details updated without touching the site yourself.

Let's Build Something

Web Design for Electricians

Ready to become
the obvious choice?

Most electrical contractors are losing jobs to competitors who simply look more legitimate online. A custom, fast, mobile-first site — with your licence front and centre — means more calls, more quote requests, and a first impression that matches the quality of your work.
