Ordco is an owner-operated electrical contractor based in Innisfil, serving homes, cottages and small businesses across Simcoe County. The engagement covered the whole identity — logo, brand system, business cards and van decals — and then a site that speaks the trade's own language: an electrical plan that powers up on load, services laid out as a breaker panel, and the licence number everywhere Ontario says it has to be.

01 — Homepage
Wired right. Signed off.
The hero is an electrician's floor plan drawn to drafting convention — walls, door swings, switch legs. On load, current runs from each switch along its circuit and the fixtures flicker on as it reaches them. It says what Ordco does before a word is read, and it is built in code rather than video, so it stays sharp and light.
02 — Mobile
Designed at 390px.
Most electrical calls start on a phone. The call button sits in the header and again above the fold, the licence number follows the promise, and the floor plan waits below the copy until it scrolls into view before it powers up.

03 — Brand
The same mark on the van and the site.
I designed the Ordco identity from the ground up — the logo, the copper-on-black palette, and the business cards and vehicle decals that put it on the road. The site uses the logo's own typeface family, so the header reads exactly like the van parked in the driveway.

04 — Services
A panel schedule, not a bullet list.
Ten services, laid out the way an electrician labels a panel. Each circuit is a breaker that switches on to open its details, so a homeowner scans the whole list at a glance and opens only what matters to them. GSAP scroll animation lights the panel as it comes into view.

05 — Contact & Security
Call first. Or send the details.
The phone number is the largest thing on the contact section, because calling is the fastest way to book an electrician. The quote form sits beside it, protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, with hours and the full service area listed so nobody has to ask.

What I Built
The complete engagement.
Brand through launch — the identity on the cards and the van, then a Next.js site animated with GSAP and built to stay fast.
